01How we approach it
Most rebuild decisions are made without evidence.
Founders are usually told to rewrite by whoever wants to do the rewriting. Investors are usually shown a repository they have no way to assess. Both end up making a decision with enormous consequences on vibes and a demo.
We read the code. Then you get a written assessment: what is genuinely load-bearing, what is fragile, what the security and dependency position looks like, what a realistic remediation costs, and whether a rewrite is justified. If the honest answer is that your current team should keep going, that is what the document will say.
